Do you need stabilizer to embroider jeans?
Though denim is thick and durable, it still needs to be properly stabilized when embroidered to avoid puckering. McTee recommends using a non-sticky, wash-away lightweight stabilizer.
Is embroidery denim hard?

I love doing machine embroidery on the back of denim jackets, cuffs, and pockets of jeans. Jeans can be a bit tricky to embroidery because there isn’t a lot of large panels like the back of a jacket for example. Plus you can open up a jacket to easily hoop the back.
